    Mission:

Change the business of healthcare through technology and education. OpenMikePT is the beginning with semiformal education in blog format.

    Vision

OpenMikePT is a way that the author can journal their thoughts on healthcare, physical therapy, sports medicine, and technology into existence even if no one is reading, to be an outlet for the author’s passion on these topics.

In the future, OpenMikePT may move into podcast and video format. It may include instructional video content on performance and rehabilitation content. Further on, direct services will be provided for clients/patients for performance and rehabilitation for all people. Through design of a radically different business structure  we hope to change the business of healthcare and how we all interact with our health.

    Values:

    • Wisdom
    • Truth

The verses in 1st Thessalonians 4: 9-12 inspires the mission of OpenMikePT and our behaviors through the process of loving our neighbors as ourselves, living quietly, minding our own affairs, working with our hands, walking properly before outsiders and independence.

    1st Thessalonians 4: 9-12 ESV

“Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another, for that is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more, and to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.”

The value of wisdom is rooted in our belief in Jesus Christ as the savior of the world, and the bible as a practical instruction of wisdom. The value of truth is rooted in Jesus’s words: I am the way, the truth, and the light. One of the characteristics of God is truth and through the process of living we aspire to reflect God’s truth throughout our business.

Through these values we believe that all people have potential for physical and spiritual healing, that our current world seeks to understand God’s creation and that utilization of rehabilitation and performance training is a method that all people can respond in worship to the grace of God. We believe that your story isn’t over yet, and that your body has the capacity for healing beyond your expectations but only if you choose to engage with it.
